We know that adsense is increasing the revenue of millions of sites by showing advertisement on the sites of webmasters. But do you know that you can even earn by letting others search on Google through your site, You will have just to place a Google Search Bar on your blog or website and whenever someone searches on Google through the Google Bar you placed on your site, Google will show ads relevant to the search, in the upper row of the search results. Google offers you a lot of flexibility in the way of searching. For example: You can tell Google Adsense for Search to search for keywords on your site by default, so that the visitors of your site might not get away clicking other competitive sites. Moreover with every search query you will get ads displayed on the search results and if someone clicks on it, Google pays you, simple as that. I have however found that Adsense for Search cost per click is far better than Adsense for content cost per click. So if you can get a large amount of search queries you can get more revenue through Google’s Adsense for Search.

All of you must have known whats the importance of Page Rank and links for any site’s popularity in Google Search Engine rankings. However, there is one more factor which is actually the Big Boss of all these factors. Rather I can say that both Google Search Engine Rankings and Page Rank can be increased by getting High Quality One Way Back Link to your site. Now what is meant be High Quality One Way Back Link? As I have already specified that Google has a complex algorithm for rank calculation and links plays an important part in it. Now Google looks into the sites linking to your site to search for matter that is related to your site in the neighbourhood of the link on that site. If it finds that the link is within text that has some relation to your site’s content or I would rather say, that has relation with the content of the linked page on your site, it will mark the link as high quality link and will be of much larger value than the links that are placed at the bottom of the site in a list of links with no relevant content in it. So, if you are aiming for high rankings than you must get these quality backlinks.

I talked about the link exchange with other sites and whats the effect on your search engine ranking. But the effect of your sites Page Rank in Google is the most when it comes to getting better seargh engine rankings. Well, let me first tell you what is Page Rank(PR). Well, Page rank is a rank given to each site from 0 to 10 based on the types of sites linking to your sites. Well, its a well proven fact now that 5000 links from low rated sites is equivalent to 1 link from a High rated site. So, you can think of what a high PR of your site can do in improving your search engine ranking. Well, PR is calculated by a highly complex mechanism by Google but you can have a look at the sites linking to your site by typing “link:http://www.yourdomain.com” in the Google search and it will return the sites that are linking to you. Moreover, you can check your current Page Rank in google at http://www.build-reciprocal-links.com. At this site you can also know the Page Rank of the sites that are linking to your site and therefore take a complete overview of Page Rank of sites linking to your site.

Its very important to get links to your sites so as to rank high in the Google searches. More the sites that links to your site, more is your rankings in Google Search. The question is that How can you get more links for your website or blogs. And the answer for that is through Link Exchange. You can get almost unlimited amount of links to your site through link exchange. But for link exchange, you will have to contact different webmasters and bloggers yourself which is just impossible. Another possibility is that you can add a script to your website which can be used to tell other bloggers and webmasters that you are open for link exchange and telling them that they can contact you at this particular email address. The third method which could be really helpful is through forums linke Satudebol.com which have special sections for link exchange. Well, I just told you the way you can have great amount of link exchange. But there are certain disadvantages also doing link exchanges in the manner as I specified above.

Google is the biggest supplier of Traffic for any site and will remain forever. But the key for getting traffic from Google is its search engine rankings. But search engine rankings in Google is calculated through a very complex algorithm which takes into account various factors. Some of them are listed here:

1. Sites that links to your site.
2. Page Ranks of sites that links to your site
3. Quality links to your site
4. Relevancy of your Meta keywords with your page
5. and many more

I will be explaining all these things in my coming posts but let me give you a brief idea of what these things can do your to your traffic. So, I know that all of youy must have searched on Google, tell me how many of you have gone to the last page and clicked the last link on that page. I bet none of you would have. So think of your site coming in the last position of the search result and tell me would they get any traffic from Google, absolutely no. You will have to strike in the top ten and may be the top three to get highly targetted traffic to your sites and thats why these things are so important. Although these, may take a long time to increase your page ranking but they wil some time in the future.

I told you how to make a blog on Blogger.com which was infact the first one to offer such a service that had changed the life of many internet users. However, after this great idea from Google many new websites came up offering the service of blogging to the internet users. Most significant development in the field of blogging was that of the coming up of Wordpress.com. Wordpress.com gave tough competition to Blogger.com from the first day it was lauched. The reason for this was a small difference in the site extension used be them. Blogger.com is basically based on HTML and therefore only HTML tags can be used and hence creation of user defined dynamic pages in Blogger.com was almost impossible. But in Wordpress.com the blog pages were written in PHP format rather than in HTML which allowed the users not only create their own dynamic page through the use of server side language, PHP in addition to the HTML tags. This difference in wordpress and blogger lead to a large number of Wordpress utilities to be built up which can be installed in a Wordpress blog as plugins. Plugins are nothing but a short addition to the default template provided by Wordpress which adds a widgets or functionality to the blog. Such as calendar widget was created for Wordpress which can be used for displaying a calendar in your blog. There were many other features that wordpress provided such as addition of pages to the blog in addition to the regular pages so that you can make special pages such as contact page, about page and many others. It also had the facility of Blogroll which helped users to create links to other blogs without any need for knowing php or HTML. Besides these, Wordpress came up with a great number of coll and good looking templates which blogger failed. Despite of these features of Wordpress, Blogger still remains the king in the blogging but it is facing tough competition with Wordpress.

Google is the king of traffic providers. All thses traffic exchanges are like dwarf as compared to Google which can provide a huge amount of targeted traffic to your site without any money required or work required from your site. You just had to submit your site for once to Google and Google will take care of the rest and will assure you that you get highly targeted traffic to your site. Now the big question, how we can add our site to Google. You can do this simply by going to this site specially made by Google for site submissions.

Add your URL to Google

Just click on the above link and submit your site to Google with the appropriate comments about your site so that Google crawlers crawls your fast as soon as possible. Usually it takes about 1 week for a site to be listed in Google’s database. But mind it, in 1 week Google will index a maximum of 5 pages in its index and the page that will be definitely include in them will be your homepage. Wait for about a month or two and see your site index growing with your site. The main key to getting large number of pages indexed in Google as soon as possible is regular submission of your blog or site to Google. You can submit your site to Google every month or two but mind it don’t submit it every day, it will take you as a spammer and blacklist your site.
