Rumors Gaining Height About Phenom's Release date
Its a well known fact around the hardware community that AMD is going to bring out its quad core processor Phenom in November but no one knows the exact release date. But rumors have started to gain height in the market that AMD's Phenom will be made public on November 20. According to sources, AMD will bring out two quad core Phenom processors which are expected to have a clock speed of 2.2GHz and 2.4GHz. Both of the two processors i.e. 2.2GHz Phenom X4 9500 and 2.4GHz Phenom X4 9600 are expected to feature 512KB L2 cache along with 2MB L3 cache.
This could help AMD to re gain its lost market but according to most of the motherboard makers AMD still take a couple of months after the release of the Phenom processor to atleast show some signs of re-claiming its market share that lost in the first quarter to Intel. Moreover, according to experts and motherboard manufacturers, the speedier versions of Phenom are expected to be released no before than the starting of 2008.
