Google Providing More Storage for Picasa and Gmail Users
Picasa and Gmail users have always been crying for limited space of 1GB and 2.8GB for the two. Well, for those regular users of these two applications from Google, the good news is that the Google have decided to provide more space to the users but this more space is not free of cost. Yes, you can have 6GB of additional space for online storage for just $20/year. Google have come out with four additional storage plans and here is the rate list
| Space | Price Per Year |
| 6GB | $20 |
| 25GB | $75 |
| 100GB | $250 |
| 250GB | $500 |
Well, the prices are not that much high and are well within the reach but I don't think it wouldn't have any effect of Google's Gmail market share with Yahoo mail going Unlimited storage and that too not even a single penny. The applications such as Google Docs and Spreadsheet are more likely to benefit from these new plans in terms of market share but the paid storage plans are still in the wait list for Google Docs and Spreadsheet. If you are a Picasa and Gmail fan and was looking for more space then here is the link where you could buy it.
