Vista not having the fire to attract users - Acer disappointed with Vista
I have not been a Vista supporter as I feel that Microsoft's Vista cannot deliver the industry with the developments as it was in the case of Microsoft XP's. And now, Acer, the number four in hardware industry, reconfirmed my thinking.
Acer's president Gianfranco Lanci today said that Vista users have been facing problems while working with it and a normal computer user really had no real reason to buy a new PC especially for Vista. He also added that many of their customers have asked them to put up Microsoft's XP in addition to the installed Vista. This clearly suggest that their is a large mass in the world today who don't like Vista.
Besides this, the high end hardware required for Vista have also been a major problem in attracting customers with the well known fact that with 512MB of RAM, Vista works as if it hadn't been charged to full. Moreover, if you are a gaming geek than Vista might not be a really good platform for you with the exception DirectX 10 compatible games as it would mean a real large RAM and Video Graphics card for better gaming experience.
Well, Microsoft really had no excuse for what they gave us after a so long wait between Windows XP and Vista. Microsoft in order to increase the sales of Vista has decided to push the users for buying Vista with the recent announcement that it will terminate the sales of Windows XP by January, 2008. The question that has always been making mw worried that "where would 3-4 year old PC owners and XP lovers go in order to get XP?".

I don't like Vista, too much resource consume, too heavy, too slow.
