Powerpoint Tip : Adding Flash to Powerpoint presentations
Powerpoint presentation is an essential part or seminars and project presentation. Well, there has been many in-built animations in Powerpoint but sometimes we need some special animations that can be easily created only with the help of Flash. But if you are searching for any control on powerpoint so as to integrate your flash with your presentation than I am sorry to say that there is no control on the main menus. Its actually hidden inside the Powerpoint's control toolbox. Here is a detailed way to integrate your presentation:
- Open the VIEW menu.
- In the view menu, look for Toolbars|Control Toolbox and click on it.
- Now, the Control Toolbox will appear on your screen.
- Click on the "More Control" button in the bottom right corner of the Control Toolbox.
- Scroll down the "More Controls" menu to find "Shockwave Flash Object" and click on it.
- Now, on your slide drag the cursor to create a rectangle.
- Right click on it and in the properties, type in the path of the Flash file that you like to embed.
- View the slide show and see your flash file playing in it.
The only thing you need to keep in mind here that you must have Shockwave Flash Object Control here. By default it is installed if you have a full version of Office but in case you have a Beta version of Office, this might not work for you.
