Google recently added the new stock button in Google searches and now they have improved the new Google Calendar. Google Calendar is still in beta testing stage but looks like a quite useful web application. But let me first explain what is it all about. Many of us have the habit of forming a schedule of our daily activities. Some of them makes the schedule at the start of a month, others make it during a week or the remaining ones used to make the schedule at the start of the day. So, that is what Google Calendar is all about. Its like your schedule diary where you can write all your important appointments, dates or someone special’s birthday.

Google has recently added a new system to Google Calendars and it is the facility of being notified about an event even when you don’t have your PC or laptop with you. Yes, this is true. Google Calendar will send you a SMS alert for an upcoming event to your mobile phone. You will just have to fill out a simple form shown here to setup your Mobile account and you are through. Share your Calendar with someone else: Now you can share my calendar of schedule with anyone you like. But that doesn’t mean that every one can look at the calendar but instead only the people that I choose will be able to view my Calendar. This can help your friends and family members know when you will be free or when you are really busy.

Automatic Event Reminders: You can have automatic Event Reminder of Google Calendar to remind you about a particular event by either Email or a pop up window.

Integrate with Gmail: You can have your Google Calendar account integrated with your Gmail account so that when ever an email regarding an event comes to your email box, you can straight away put that event date and time into your calendar.

Change the colors of your calendar: Set your calendar colors and how it look likes. You can also change the color of an event so that it looks different from the other events and remind you of the fact that its an important event for you.
