Shoot your videos and upload it to Eyespot: So, to make your video mix you will need to have some videos in your PC's so that you can upload them to eyespot. If you don't have videos just shoot some of the videos and upload them or there is another option for you if you really want to test eyespot. They had a number of pre uploaded clips which users can use to create mixes. You can choose some of them and make your mix. To choose videos from eyespot just click on the link "Get free clips from our partners" and you will be directed to the page containing a number of videos. Click on the "Add clip" link at the bottom of each clip to save it to your account.
Mix different videos and add effects to them: This is the most important step and I think all of you must be knowing that. So, we will be going into deep details of this step by step.
- First of all click on the "Mixer" link provided on the top right of your page. Once you click that you will be directed towards the mixing page where all the mixing processes are done.
- Now in the left of the window you will see a sidebar menu termed as "Media Sets". This is the set of all the media that either you have uploaded or the clips you selected from their partners. Click on the name of video that you have uploaded. One important thing I would like to tell that the Media Sets will not display all the videos yo have uploaded. To view all your videos and clips just click on the "More" button at the bottom of the Media Sets.
- Now you have selected the video and all the clips will be shown to you in that video. You can drag-n-drop your clips to the panel just below it saying "Controls: Mix and Play" into the right number that you wish that clip should be played in the final video.
- Ok, so all the talkings have been done on how to make a video with Eyespot. Lets move onto the advanced features of Eyespot that is video editing. I told you that all the clips will be shown to you in a panel. But you might have noticed that below each link you have an option of "Trim/Play". As the name suggests that this option can be used to play your clip so that you can have a preview of it and the more importantly Trimming of the clip which is the power of Eyespot. Once you click this link, a pop up window opens up with your clip and below it there will be a Timeline.
- Timeline starts with a Green Arrow and ends up with a Red Arrow. Once the video gets loaded up click on the Play button and your clip starts playing.
- To trim the video you just have to left click on the Green Arrow, hold it and move to the point which you think should be the Start point of the video.
- Similarly you can move the Red Arrow and define the end point.
- Now to save this Trimmed video just click on the Save button after providing it a Title and your video will be trimmed and saved to your media sets with the title you specified.
- Steps 4-8 explained how to trim a clip. Lets now move on to how can we give effects at Eyespot. Just below the Media Sets you will see the Tools panels consisting of three tools namely - Effect, Transitions and Titles.
- Click on the Effect button and you will have some great effects in front of you. Just Drag-n-Drop these effects to your "Control: Mix and Play" panel in the right position where you wish to see that effect. There are a number of effects available such as Sepia, Slow Motion, Black & White and many more. Just use your creativity and make full use of these superb effects.
- To apply Transitions such as fade out, zoom in and zoom out, proceed in the same manner just as you did for Effect.
- Titles simply the text that you want to be placed in your videos.
- Another important feature of Eyespot is that you can Mute a video and add your own media tracks to it to be played in the background. To mute a frame just click on the Mute link below each frame in "Controls: Mix and Play".
Publish and share it with the world: Finally, you are done and you should now save your video. Just click on the yellow backgrounded text of the heading "Controls: Mix and Play" and you will be asked to give it a name and your video will be saved which can be shared with others through blogs by using the provided code.
