Google's changing and improving ranking system for websites
Google is changing its way of ranking the sites these days because of an increase in the black seo activities by many webmasters. Some webmasters in order to gain higher search engine rankings uses unauthorised activities and those websites that had really good content had to suffer for this. So Google is constantly revising its ranking procedure. Now, it does not gives much stress to the meta tags such as description, keywords etc. Webmasters using black seo techniques such as keyword hiding, keyword agglomeration and many other are being penalised in the form of banning their website from search engine. Same is applied for cross linking your websites to gain higher search engine ranking. Google now penalize you for heavy linking of your different websites in order to gain higher rankings. If it founds that your website is linking to a site heavily then it simply penalize you for it. But it can be that you put links that are relevant to the page. Google simply looks for the contents on the two websites and if finds some relevant keyword may allow you to carry on with heavy cross linking of websites but in most cases it is preferred that you don’t cross link your sites too much in order to gain rankings. Google now looks for quality links and not just links now a days. So try to get them as much you can.
